Emergency financial assistance
The following types of organizations may be able to provide emergency funds β including ZEC for survivors who need a private financial starting point. Contact your local DV organization to see what's available in your area.
Emergency ZEC for Survivors
Some partner shelters and NGOs maintain ZEC emergency funds for survivors who have completed the wallet setup (Module 4). Ask your shelter advocate to connect you.
Find an advocate βEmergency Cash Assistance
Many DV shelters have emergency funds for immediate needs β transport, accommodation, food. You don't need to have left already to ask for planning help.
Housing resources βFree Legal Help
Protective orders, custody, divorce β DV legal advocates can often help at no cost. You don't need to be in a shelter to access legal help.
